The company SES ASTRA became the general sponsor of the largest exhibition and conference in the Ukraine for the tele-communications and the tele-radiobroadcasting.
SES ASTRA is the leading operator of satellite communication in Europe. Today this system consists of 14 ASTRA satellites and two SIRIUS satellites, which are well known on the Ukrainian market. The united satellite system of broadcasting provides signals into more than 122 million houses, which are connected to the satellite and cable television. SES ASTRA covers the wide spectrum of multimedia services, and wide-band Internet, based on the satellite communications. Proposing about 80 HDTV channels on the main orbital positions, SES ASTRA and SIRIUS together are the leading HDTV platform, which operates the most important European companies for broadcasting.
